Since I'm usually the type of person to update little things at a time, I made this thread so I don't make a huge news post every time I change a little detail or fix a little bug. Plus, you guys like to know when I fix things, right?

- Earlier, I fixed the HD Theater so it will go all the way to the edge of your screen if you're on a resolution of 1280 width (i.e. 1280x800 laptops, or 1280x1024 LCDs). This way, 720p content will literally fix exactly on your screen (width wise).
- Today, I fixed the bug where the downloads list would appear on top of the background of the HD Theater, then cleaned up some of the code to make it run smoothly.

- Added "Online" below a username if that person is online.
- Fixed the coloring on that word.
- Fixed various issues that broke XHTML and CSS validation. To my knowledge, all pages and their stylesheet validate properly (check for yourself using the images at the bottom).
- Also made it so this thread doesn't appear on the main page.

- Fixed stupid errors by yours truly in the stylesheet that was screwing up the "Edit" button (and other buttons for me) on posts.

- Added a "No Count" link next to videos, downloads, wallpaper, etc. for Administrators and Staff so we can test videos and downloads without incrementing the counts/views.

- Fixed the "Don't Count" link for admins and staff.
- Apparently the Wallpaper page doesn't work on some PCs. I have no idea why, though, so fixing it'll be a bitch.

- Implemented better error checking and handling in the Theater.
- Implemented error checking and handling in the downloads system, fixing an exploit that could cause an index of the wallpaper directory to appear.

- Implemented valid category/mode checking in the FAQ and Videos pages, so a message appears on an invalid FAQ mode or video category instead of ugly messages.
- Removed the test downloads from the Kill Faz Pilot. Full download lists will be up soon.

- Recoded the entire style of the wallpaper page, and it now seems to appear fine on certain computers in Firefox. If you're on a system that doesn't display that page properly, let me know. During the recoding process, I went ahead and made it able to vertically-align the text next to the image, which is a lot harder to do here than in Word or something.

- Updated the "Wallpaper/Screenshots" page. It is now known as "Pictures", is linked to on the left side of the nav bar, and is named "gallery.php". This will not only allow our Picture Archive to expand to pictures beyond just wallpaper and screenshots, but I'm hoping it will become a secondary focal point to the website, since images are satisfying content and fairly easy to put out. It's a good thing I fixed the display of the page, huh?

- Vertically-aligned the text of each video on the Videos page.
- Changed the code so only the header is changed when you click a different category (so the whole frickin' page doesn't jump whenever you change a category).

- Removed a couple of users that created their accounts for spamming purposes only. Based on the current security measures in place, the two people were actual people, and based on their usernames, it was the same person. So that means that one person decided to create an account and spam the forums two different times. Gotta love the Internet.

Really.

There was a huge typo on the Contact page that made it make no sense, and no one tells me about it?

Really?

- Added the category of a video in parenthesis after the name in the Videos List if you're looking at "All Videos". I noticed it seemed awkward that Halo 3: Really? - Episode 07 was just titled Episode 07, so now that's clearer. (This doesn't show up if you click a category, obviously.)

- Updated the code on the videos page and theater to say "minute" instead of "minutes" if it's only a minute long (and also for seconds) because it's such a simple check and I hate when people don't bother doing it and things say "1 minutes" or "1 seconds". We here at Kill Faz do not tolerate that kind of tomfoolery.

- Re-uploaded all versions of Kill Faz: S.A.C. Episode 1, which was actually harder than it sounds. The way we have to deal with the footage, the audio sync is different pretty much every time, so I had to re-sync a lot of the clips so they made sense. Watching it, it seems I also failed to re-sync a few of the clips, but it's not really noticeable. All of this stemmed from the fact that my final archive encode of the episode somehow failed without my knowledge, so I had to re-encode that anyway.
- The high- and low-resolution Quicktime versions are now iPod-compatible.

- Reduced the number of news posts on the home page to 3.
- Moved the Login boxes from the bottom to the top of the home page.
- Added a new page: videos_list_standalone.php. This is a static version of the regular Videos page, for use with the W3C XHTML validation tool at the bottom of the page. Other than that, it really has no use.

- Streamlined the website a little by removing the "Confirmation" pages (like when you post, it says "Hey, you posted, click here to continue"). Now it simply continues without loading an extra page and having to click something. If this broke anything, or something doesn't make sense anymore because you don't see whatever the confirmation message had to say, please let me know. In the future, I'll see if I can just have a quick window pop-up that you just click "Ok" so it's just an extra click and not an extra page load.

- Made a temporary work-around that defaults the HD theater to closed, so you can either choose to open the HD theater or choose a different resolution (or just download a file). I'll see if there's a better, more correct way to do this later.

- Also, I'm aware that private messages don't display properly. I'm not sure how this is happening because they use the same code as the home page and any topic display.

Haha, so you know how the private messages weren't displaying correctly? And I was confused because it used the same code as the posts in the forums and they're displaying just fine? Well it turns out I was right. The code was fine. The post body was just too wide by 1%, and was wrapping to the next line. So that's fixed now.
